How We Got Started

SFHS3

We bring a unique set of skills combining academic action-based research with industry best practice, allowing us to translate latest research and document our own practice to create systematic change within the school sector.

How we started

Our first project took South Fremantle Senior High School through to being the first certified carbon neutral school in Australia. We were extremely inspired by the school’s determination, remarkable sustainability achievements and financial savings. However, we were also aware of the
technical complexity of their achievement and the fact that they would not have
been able to achieve this on their own. We knew that if other schools were going pursue this goal, carbon management needed to be made simple.
